Our Story

My name is Wendy Woodruff and Southern Charm Quilting Company is a result of much prayer & seeking God's direction for my personal, family & professional life. After managing & quilting for a local quilt shop for many years the Lord decided that my priorities may not have been in exactly the right order when it came to Him & my family. So He decided through illness to teach me Psalm 46:10 "Be still & know that I am God". He also proved His faithfulness by bringing me through major surgery & proving that He still heals! I give Him all the praise & glory for all that He has done in my life.


This company is a dream of mine & certainly a step of faith...but I also believe with everything that's in me that it is a step of obedience to this God who loves me (& you) more than I can realize or relate. After all that He has done for me I must follow Him even if I don't know exactly where this path will lead or what He may have in store for us...we are just trusting Him & trying to honor Him in everything we do. This is already an exciting journey though still very new. We are eager to meet new people & earn your trust as we try to treat you as we would want to be treated. We have no desire to interfere with anyone else's business success but will strive to be a blessing to other companies & stores in every way that we can. Especially those that have been such a blessing to us! God doesn't need to hinder anyone else's business as He builds ours.


Please allow us to get to know you & earn your business and more importantly your trust. I thank God & my family for this opportunity & new lease on life & will strive to make the most of it for His glory. We have much to learn & are willing to do whatever it takes to prove ourselves worthy of your trust . All I know to do is use the gifts God has so graciously given me to be a blessing to others. Our prayer is that God & each of you will find us faithful.


We are small enough to offer you personal service but more than capable of offering you the best quality quilting service & quilts available. Our overhead & expenses are nominal allowing us to keep our price affordable. Only the Lord knows where all this leads but with His help we hope to be a blessing to people & make a real difference in this world for Him.

Hi Wendy, so happy to have found you!! I don't know if you remember me but we met at AST when you were managing there. You did several quilt tops for me & they were best. Went to a quilt retreat in AL in March & found you thru Angie & Angela. So happy you are well & the Lord is blessing you & your endeavors. I have a couple of quilt tops that need to be done & one of my neighbors down the street has one also. I will be contacting you soon. God bless you!!

It was good seeing you at the Guild meeting yesterday. It is the first one I have been for some time as I have had my granddaughter a lot and need to pick her up from school,so miss most of the meeting it I attend. She will be moving out of state soon and I really need to get my act together as I will miss her a lot. You were always so nice to me while working at the store, Even though I don't know much about quilting you always made me fell smart about it. I need personal 101 in quilting. My Granddaughter will be moving the first part of March so I will get with you then.
